Hey snowmuch, how exactly did you make the bracket? I was going to do the same with my Nook tablet but couldn't get the whole bracket thing going. Did you make it from scratch or is it part of something else?

Post #19 from this thread. It's just a triangle shape thing I got from Home Depot

Nice. I did the same thing. I went through so many devices and finally settled on the original Nexus 7. I especially liked that one because of the pogo pins for charging. Hated seeing the cable sticking out from the side when I had to charge it. Here are some pictures that I took when I did the install. Sorry I don't have more but I got so involved with putting it together, I forgot to take more pictures along the way. Maybe I take a few more pics of it in the car later.

Here's a quick rundown of what I did:

I know it's a crude list so if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

              Thanks.

Next is to figure out how bluetooth backup camera works, and how to place the wireless charging adapter behind that screen :y

Whoa, this is exactly what I wanted to do to my car....Not to be a copy cat...but...what Rims are those...and...Please post if you find a backup cam solution, I was just talking about that about 2 months ago.

I'm planning on similar set up. only difference is that my is gen 2 so I'll be using a wireless adapter under the vent instead :)

The purpose of the post is to provide alternative gps solution :) I haven't had the time to search for a backup cam yet. I will keep you updated if I do. I'm using C63 amg OEM rims btw

Was inspired by this thread and came up with my own solution using adhesive rubber feet.

                          https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-my-carpc.html

Thought I would just share my setup here as a reference for others interested in going down the same path.
