**Easy** Ipod to Center console

Hey guys,

There has been a lot of discussion on this topic but thought I would post this in case some people didn't know how to run it....

So I got sick of running my ipod wire to the side of the center console and leaving it dangling in the cup holder. I looked in my center console and pulled up the carpet and saw a nice factory hole that a cable can run through. I also noticed the carpet piece had slits in it. So I ran a cable from the glove box, hiding under everything and down the side of the center console. I taped it to a clothes hanger and decided to fish it to the hole. I had to push very hard to get the head of the Aux wire under the plastic and the carpet but I got it. I then fished it to the hole. Boom!

Check out the pic.

Cheers!

Adam

dolvio describes the cable run for a standard Aux Minijack, good also for hooking up to any MP3 player, or your iPhone/Android phone for full bandwidth music (as opposed to Bluetooth streaming). Makes it handy to select tunes vs. leaving it in the glove compartment or having wires everywhere. Congrats.

Does the cable also charge your iPod nano/shuffle?

No sir. I take it with me to the gym so I don't need that. But you could run a charging cable alongside the aux cable...!
