My C300 is Done
20% tint
Magnaflow X-Pipe
Custom tail lights
Stock rims color-matched and painted
Grill color-matched and painted
Side markers removed
Debadged
Things I want to do (and need help finding, so any help is appreciated):
Red brake calipers
Quad tips (I believe I need the C63 diffuser and brackets?)
Maybe vinyl out some of the chrome paneling
Any other ideas?
Let me know what you think

Pretty sexy whip.
Maybe the black with chrome star rim center caps would be nice.
And yes I believe with the quad tips you would need to do either A) some mods to your diffuser or B) get a new diffuser C63 style or what not. If you do a search for exhuast tips you should find a lot even on the first few pages of this section of the forum.
Even in different styles.
And what tail lights are they? Got a link?

Thanks man. Yeah, I went to the dealership and the caps were $20 each lol, so I have to see if I wanna do that.
The tail lights are stock with a custom paint job, my mechanic did an amazing job.

I would remove the chrome impact strips on the sides ( they just come off...i used a blow dryer and dental floss) also gloss black the window trim and badges give it that true all black look

So far, it's all been about appearance.....time to make it fun to drive.
- Eibach Anti-Sway Bars (assuming it's not 4MATIC)
- SMERC Strut Tower Brace
- Tire upgrade (depending what you have now)

Yeah, I might go for the true all black look. Would be a pretty easy job.
1) It is a 4MATIC
2) Please tell me more.
3) I'm happy with the stock tires for now (and so is my bank account, lol)

Strut tower brace mechanically connects the tops of the struts across the engine compartment, which helps reduce flex and hold the wheel position in proper relationship. The additional handling benefit was clear, even after installing the anti-sway bars first. I have this one, which is very well made and easy to install and do a quick removal for periodic engine service.

Nice. Thanks Sportstick. I am interested in the strut tower brace, I just don't know if it's worth the investment considering I am mostly just driving to and from the office during the week. What do you think, is there a noticeable difference in "normal" driving?

Not everyone feels the same things. I certainly felt it as an additional benefit, even over the anti-sway bars, and I never see a track....just spirited driving on cloverleafs, traffic circles, etc., in everyday driving. Brings me a larger smile every time the steering wheel turns!

Will definitely think about the strut tower brace, sounds interesting.
Thank you Doa. It's a stock 2012 C300 Sport 4MATIC with all the packages. No other changes except for what I put in the first post.

Also think about a C63 style steering wheel. The part you hang onto the most should also feel good! Performance Products has a three spoke C63 lookalike, but it's the same diameter as original so you get to re-use your airbag. That wheel feels so great in my car!

Looks great man!
I bought the same spoiler for my black C300, but have yet to have it painted/installed.
Any chance of a few shots of the rear end?

How did you get that interior combo?! I wanted a black and tan originally, but the one's with tan interior also had a dark brown dash, and tan carpet. I went with black on black, but still..I didn't think this combo was available on mbtex (assuming that's what you have, judging from stitch/door upholstery. Or is that sahara beige leather, because that would be similar to your interior color scheme.

Here's some pics I had on my phone of the rear end, I can gladly take new better ones if you guys want. The car is pretty dirty in that first one haha.

djejglk: I'm pretty sure it's Sahara Beige/Black Leather, but let me double check that for you.
Sportstick: Gotcha. I'm gonna stick with my current wheel; I love it.
Quattr09: No problem! Thank you man

Your car looks nice, unusual to see that color combo!
How much did your mechanic charge you for the taillights?

Thank you guys. The tail lights are my favorite part haha. I got my rims, tail lights, grill, and side markers done for about $600, but I can ask how much of that was for the tail lights.
Does anyone have any experience with C63 diffuser and quad tips? That's what I'm looking at doing next but I'm getting some really high numbers for labor costs. I'm gonna buy the diffuser and the two brackets online for $160ish. How much should I be paying for labor on that? And then how much do quad tips usually run?
