Hit and Run
Was involved in a Hit and Run by a drunk driver this past weekend. Managed to follow the driver until state police caught up and arrested him.
While the rear bumper paint and diffuser are cracked, apparently I was pushed into some debris which trashed the lower part of my front bumper.
I've been looking for "C63-Style" front bumpers for my C300. All I was able to find was some cheap fiberglass reps out of california, while the plastic molds are intercontinental.
Does anyone know a vendor in the states that sells such a bumper? My insurance is doling out $675 for the bumper so I'd like to try to get a C63-style replacement.
Thanks... Looked into Revozport, no longer seems they offer this product...

I really liked the gills on the edges of the c63 bumper. this one doesn't appear to have it..
also removing the side markers? won't that throw error codes?

Only the pre-facelift C63 bumper has the vents. I would assume that there is a way around error codes, as this bumper is compatible with facelift and pre-facelift. Take a look at aftermarket side vents, or just look on ebay for a pre-facelift bumper, I'm sure they exist.

I think this is the one you're looking for. Just message Gary and he should take care of you.

I need your opinion... It seems I can go one of three ways here...
1. Replace damaged front bumper with OEM, no front plate bracket (use RhoPlate), and possibly get a lip.
2. Get the pre-facelift C63 replica, and have to delete my LED DRL's, for fogs... meh
3. Get facelift C63 replica, and keep my LED DRL's, but suffer that gap between the headlights and bumper...
My concern with 2- is that if I were to re-wire it, I would lose my electrical warranty on the car, and I'd also have to conjure up a switch to turn the fogs on/off, or use the fogs as DRL's which is.... again, meh.
My concern with 3, is not so much cosmetic, but the risk of allowing excess moisture/water behind the bumper and risk shorting out some electronics..
What do you think? I have to make a decision here shortly... It appears there's no "perfect" solution for a front bumper C63 rep for a MY2011 C-Klasse
