HELP! 2014 C350 or 2013 E350
So I left the dealer today thinking I knew what I wanted... I have no idea. weighing the pros and cons
C350: polar white, black amg wheels, grill, and alcantera w red stitching interior 24 month lease 12k
E350: Satin white matte, red/black leather interior, amg wheels
36 month lease 19k
I like the interior of the C better, the exterior of the E better. I can't tell the difference in driving them. Not sure what to do, can anyone please tell me any major differences and which they prefer and why?
Thanks guys.
ps. about me, 35 yr old male in entertainment industry first mercedes.

Welcome Jeff!
I'm 36 and had a very similar choice (when I was 35), however mine was between a custom ordered 2012 C350 vs an off the lot 2013 E350 with package1 (they were within less than 1k difference in price).
I ended up choosing the custom ordered c350 since...
1- I got a car I really wanted: everything from trim, color, to factory options like suspension etc.).
2- An E350 will never be as sporty as a C350.
If you want size, go for the E...if you want sportiness, then the C. However since you're doing a lease, I don't think you can go wrong either way since 2-3 years goes by pretty quick.

Thanks for the response... Yea, the thing is I didnt get a feel for the sportiness, I was driving in Beverly Hills traffic! The size thing is a non issue for me, I just want something that feels luxurious (both do) and I really enjoy. The thing with the C is you see a TON of C250s on the road, and don't wanna be lumped in with em buuuut... is that worth an extra $6k? for a better paint job, and better rear look. I may just be too focused on outside appearance from both the car and myself. But c'mon how sexy is this thing?

Are we talking about a C250 or a C350? Also are we comparing sedans or a coupe? (I automatically thought sedan since we are in the sedan forum).
If coupe....well, personally I've never been a fan of any MB coupe (roadsters don't count)...and worse, an overly large E coupe.
I've always thought this as a GENERAL statement in that, MB always looked better in sedan form (again roadsters don,t count), but the opposite is true for BMW in that I've always considered BMW coupes to look better than their sedan counterparts.
If you are torn between the 2...perhaps you should let the contract decide for you and go with the shorter 2 year instead of the 3. Perhaps by then you'll know exactly which car you'd want to be stuck with for a longer period of time.

The C350 ... both are Coupes, I didnt realize I was in a sedan forum I'm new, and exhausted from a long day.
I think you may be right, about the contract length. Plus I would prefer the sportier ride as opposed to cruising softly, a couple bumps never killed anyone. Thanks a lot for your help!

Have driven the c250, c350, e350 and e550 coupe and convetible for I would say enough days (3-8 days on each occassion) to make me feel what my life will be if I ever went with those cars and I would say IF I am single, no kids, no bag of construction tools on the trunk I will go with the E-class coupe. There is a big difference with the suspension, quality grade of the E class even on the coupe version that will make you feel driving in a cloud then all of a sudden turn the car like mad like a train in rails. If you will get a chance to drive the e550 do yourself a favour and drive it for a day (ask the salesperson to have it arranged for a overnight test drive) and I guarantee you it will put a big smile on your face when you stomp the gas pedal. Even the c or e350 coupe is more than enough for you to shred the back tires if you are an aggressive driver. If you will use the car for some business and a tool to make yourself feel even more prouder than those who drives a c-class go for the e class. If you are leasing go with the e-class just don't go with the matte paint.
One thing I also noticed is there is not a big difference on the interior space between the C and E coupe so keep that in mind as well. The only thing that will set this two cars apart fron the interior is when you get the designo seats on the e class as that is money well spent and a huge upgrade to the interior.

awesome thanks for the tips... I didnt know they did overnight test drives... I think I may have to test drive them both again on the same day and see, oh and the e350 did have the designo seats. is the c350 clunky in corners? i read that its supposed to be really sporty i remember the pick up it had on my first test drive 2 weeks ago.

i have both a C and E.
the E is really superior inside, the C has better handling and a more sportive look.
its a PFL E coupe so can't really say much about the new FL models but i don't like the new look

I didn't lease so price was a big decision maker for me- but if I had the opportunity I would definitely be driving an E-Coupe. I hate the sedans but the Coupe is a completely different animal. The only thing I didn't like about the E was the seat control on the top edge of the driver's seat. I'm a big guy and was uncomfortable with the panel there next to the center console.

I just ordered my C-350 sport sedan and I asked the guy for dynamic handling, but on the spec order form it says advanced agility control and it has code (315) which is the same code that dynamic handling is listed as. Do I have to call them to make sure I have dynamic Handling or is advanced agility package another name for dynamic handling since the codes are the same. Any owner experience this already. Please help I would hate to wait on a car that does not have dynamic handling and them some one point out that it was not listed on the form when I requested it and agility and dynamic are different packages. thank you in advance

While I currently have a C class car, my next car will be an E class. We have enjoyed travelling so much in the C300 that we have used it that way more frequently than any car we have ever owned. But the C class, to us, for extended trips, is limited in luggage capacity. The E class seems to be perfect.
But I hope that the C300 will be with us for a good long while yet. Actually, I don't think we will ever part with it. So I will have to save my pennies so that we can bring the E class home with no trade-in. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would ever own two Mercedes Benzs. Saving pennies actually works.

2013 C350 coupe
I have a 2013 c350 coupe and my dad has a 2011 e350 sedan. The e350 is much more comfortable and the suspension is much much smoother of a ride. However, it does not feel sporty enough compared to my c for my liking but to be fair my engine is the newer 302hp one. Also not a fan of the column shifter.

2011 C180 Coupé (prev '99 CLK200)
The new e coupe facelift is really nice, i'm not a fan of the 60's style shifter but everything else is great, the new c class facelift look great too but i really don't like the tablet style display on the dash like the A class and the new c will have the same shifter on the column, something we are really not used to in europe i'm really suprised by this choice, i'd prefer simple buttons instead of a physical stick...
I bought a c coupe because i really don't like pre facelift 4 headlights of e but if i had to buy a car tomorrow i'll go to the e coupe
