Acura MDX Mercedes C250 turbo 4

Just took delivery of a new Mercedes 2013 C250 Sports Sedan. What octane gas can I use? will it run on 87 Octane with no problems? Inside gas tank flap it says no lower than 91 Octane. Any feedback on this? I am leasing for 27 months. Thank you.....

premium only. Use 87 only for emergencies only and you should watch your revs and no lead foot as well. ilumunus is right, you might save a few bucks put in reality you will use more gas to get the car going not to mention the potential engine damage to your engine in the long run. Even if you are leasing the car treat it like you will own it for the rest of your life.

2013 C250 Sport and 2015 Acura TLX 2.4 Tech
The octane rating for 'Premium' varies with location (altitude driven.) Here we have 87, 89 and 93 octane available. So to arrive at 91 octane I always fill up when the tank is at the half mark and vary the fill ups between 93 and 89 octanes. That gives me 91 octane as required.

Minimum octane is 91 for CA/AZ/NV cars because we have no choice. If you have 93 through 98 octane in your region, I highly recommend to fill up with that only. Turbo cars need special attention as their tune is very sensitive and requires all the octane it can get.
