Question Better solution for a lower metal grill mesh replacement?

Hey everyone,

My lower grill mesh is broken on my newly acquired 2008 C350, and I've searched these forums and the internet for an aftermarket metal solution, but it's been all over the place.

The posts on this subject here have all gone dead between 2008 to 2010, and the conclusions I've drawn are:
- Get a Carlsson one for ~$500
- Get a plastic OEM replacement, and keep replacing it every time it breaks
- Build my own, as a DIY thread suggested:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...rill-mesh.html

My concern with building my own, is getting the mesh cut properly, getting it to fit right, and I'm afraid of messing it up, or it falling out.

I'd prefer to just get an OEM looking metal pre-made replacement.

I have found a couple other places for a replacement grill:

http://www.mina-gallery.com/model-pa...Grille-350.htm

http://www.racemeshgrilles.com/orders.htm#Mercedes-Benz

Has anyone got one from these above 2 sites? Or know of another place to get a pre-made one that is black, metal, and OEM looking?

Surely there must be an easy and more affordable source for one of these by now.

Thanks!

Well I ended up buying this one:

My plan is to paint it black, and I'll post pictures when I get it installed.
