The New Best?
Happen to have just put these on my wife's E and like them much better than the DWS they replaced. However, if pure comfort is your priority over handling, steering response, braking, this wasn't designed for you.
I was going between these and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and while I know the PSS are better at handling, the treadwear difference is 300 on the PSS and 500 on the AS/3 which made me favor them after seeing the reviews on them.
Looking forward to seeing how they are.

"Michelin wants to change the game and minimize the seasonal performance trade-offs with their newest Ultra High Performance All-Season tire, the Pilot Sport A/S 3. Packed with new technology and lessons learned from other successful performance tire designs, the Pilot Sport A/S 3 is tuned to provide traction and handling in the dry and wet at levels approaching dedicated summer performance tires while also remaining competent in winter's slush and light snow."
The AS/3 are "Ultra High Performance All-Season" tires. As far is in the dry the PSS are stickier, better handling tires, but by what I am reading, they aren't THAT much better. In the wet and cold the AS/3 are far supreme to the PSS. Given that I live in California it didn't really matter to me for the wet and cold but the major difference for me was threadwear which was 300 on the PSS vs 500 on the AS/3.
Anyway, getting the tires put on this afternoon. Will post my thoughts about them after if you'd like.
