Air intake duct split. ? Best fix

Air intake duct split. ? Best fix
Hi I have a w204 c220.
When just inspecting the engine bay I noticed that the Air intake duct had split along it manufacturing lines. I have the uk version so there is only one intake duct on the right side of the engine bay.
The duct is similar to this the oval part plugs into the fromt grill.

I was looking for any recommendation as for the best tapes or ties to hold it together. When you fold it its fits together perfectly and the right tapes/ ties should hold it. I have 2 wraps of duct tape on it now and it holds it perfects.
I was just looking for a longer term solution as obviously the engine bay gets hot and uk weather gets cold. I'm not sure if duct tape is suitable for all conditions.
I was looking for any recommendations as how might be the best way to join this back together.
