i installed a LED bulb in footwell of my C250 but it kept blinking. Does this mean I should use a CANBUS type LED light??

I had the same problem. I also found that installing just one LED is ok, no blinking. I'd think CANBUS type LED will work. Is CANBUS LED just an LED with a resistor in parallel? If yes then it defeats the main purpose of the LED (reduce battery current draw).

I replaced all internal lightings to LED except for the footwell. One LED on one side and stock on the other works. LED's on both side does not work for me. Thought I had a blown fuse until I installed back the stock bulbs
I found out that the footwell lighting is integrated with the interior ambient lightings which glows at night while driving. Kinda like that mood, yah know. Also I noticed mine have light on the bottom door pull
Others don't have it. I am guessing MB removed the door pull light on their 2014 W204 built.

Precision LED ... they sell a complete interior LED light package and they work flawlessly and the best thing is they include the plastic tools that you need as well. and they made a youtube video showing you how to replace each and everyone.

This. Mike's bulbs are fantastic. I've had them on my C for over a year now and I have had zero issues with any of the bulbs since the install.

Thanks guys. I bought the set recommended for w204 from superbrightleds and the ones in the footwell don't work. I will try AZNLED or precision LED.
