Where abouts is the interior light switch located?
Hi all, first time MB owner here. I purchased a 2013 C250 before reading about it in forums. Yes I have used the Search features a lot. Great features btw but it yielded inconclusive results for me.
Neeways, can anyone tell me where the door switch for the interior light is located on the W204? I cant find it anywhere. Wonder if its still a switch that's grounded like the old school type or not. Otherwise makes things more difficult for what I would like to use it for.

Is your problem that when you open the doors the light come on? I'm not exactly understanding what's being asked, I'm kinda tired right now.
Option #1:
It won't come on until you put your key in the ignition hole. But I think there is some setting on the menu, it's like convenience lighting or something. I've been too lazy to check if that's a myth or not, but it should be there.
Option #2:
Check out the control panel above the mirror, and change the "off" to "on". That's how I fixed my problem, hence why I don't know if the convenience lighting button exists or not. The button being pushed in means it's on, out means its off.
Congrats btw!

Sorry, I could have been more specific.
I am trying to find the door jamb switch that turns on the interior lights when door is pulled open. Any clue?
