Exhaust/Quad Tip help! Please :(

I had ordered some AMG quad tips off of JBspeed awhile ago and finally had time to put on the diffuser & get the tips welded.

Went to the muffler shop and found out that the tips won't fit right on my car because I had bought the wrong tips and had needed to buy the off-centered ones.

So, I'm trying to find a less-costly/timely way of getting this quad tip set up going.

I either can:

1. Sell these tips, and buy a new set. (Don't want to deal with the inconvenience of selling/shipping/etc. and waiting.) Plus cost of labor ($60-100)

2. Replace my x-pipe(resonator delete) with a muffler (w/ built in x-pipe) and then straight pipe it. Plus cost of labor ($180)

If I were to go with the latter, what specs should my muffler be? 2.25 in/out?

Please and thanks. I was so looking forward to getting these tips welded today

I know option two is more costly but I feel like the car would overall sound better as well.

Would this:

Best bet is to get the correct tips. The muffler for xpipe and straight pipes will most likely be too loud. I got my offset tips off ebay and they worked perfect with my xpipe and existing mufflers.

If you had mentioned this an hour sooner... I already purchased them through E-Bay haha.
