The first thread was un clear to me so I contacted Megan racing myself. I spoke to James one of the tech guys and he said if someone will loan them a car within the specs 08-11 4matic he will have them available no later than 2months after prototype. You will be looking at 3inch drop on all 4 corners which is more than the kw v3s for the 4matics. No one has been willing to make a setup for us and the time is now to change things around!
Market pricing for these coilovers will be 900-1000 which makes things affordable.
Now for the bad news someone needs to lend them their car for a week so they will be able to offer this setup.

Also spoke to airtekk out of NY and they said they can make a coilover for us if we have 10 people sign up @ 950 shipped within the 48 states.
Drop will be almost 4inches on this.

Who needs a damn 3"-4" drop? I mean coils are great if you want to go lower in the summer and come back up for the winter, but dropping anything over 2" is simply stupid. Unless you're one of those stance retards.

It's not your decision now is it? You're entitled to your own opinion, but keep it to yourself, thanks.

what will the minimum drop be ? 1.5 drop will be good enough.
will these setup be form over function or function over form ?
i need something to make the car handles better not just have a better stance

It's going to be fully adjustable so you can have it function over form.

There was at least 6 or 7 people interested regarding the megan coilovers in the previous thread.
before you scrap the idea i would allow a couple people to chime in and actually get on the forum. I purposely went and looked for the other thread before noticing this one, not everyone may have caught it just yet. There isn't much available for 4 matics so im sure a lot of people are interested.

Hey man, I posted in the other thread as well I'm definitely interested but I'm in Canada can't help out on the loaner portion. But definitely keep me in if everything works out I'm a buyer for sure. That drop will look sick on our rides!! I've been talking to an inhouse coilover builder for subaru rally cars in ontario, canada and he's quoting me roughly 1800-2000 so getting megans for 1000 is a steal!

hey guys, just to give some info on the other company i was talking about its called Hotbits canada sport supsensions. I'm going to meet up with him monday to see what can be done and what pricing exactly. My friend had them make a custom coils for an audi a6 height adjustable and dampening and they ride amazing! I live local to these guys so getting them wouldn't be a problem. If you guys are interested, let me know and I'll see if we can get a group buy going for this.

hoping to see a cheaper setup on the market. if price is around 1000-1500 i will get it for sure. the only option is kw v3 which is way too expensive. i used to have kw v1 on my e90 they ride superb, but cant judge the extra 1500 for a v3.

4matic C300
I agree with the guys above. Any coils that are less than v3's are game. I cant see myself spending 3k for coils when i can get bags for a lil more.

hey guys, so good news took the car in and measurements were taken and everything is good to go. Cost wise he's going to get back to me today but he did advise be that if we have 5 or more people we can get a 20% discount. The setup is going to be HotBits DT1
http://hotbits.com.my/product.aspx?id=2
So the setup is guaranteed on a 09 c350 4matic which is mine, also taking into consideration that the KW v3s that are on my car based off KWs website are for c300 4matic, we know that it'll work on the c300 4matic as well. As for ride quality, the owner took me in a ride in his 911s with the same setup and they ride smoother than the v3s surprisingly. What are we at so far for head count of people interested?

I'm in pending the approximate cost. Never heard of the company but hey if they're Canadian and local makes things easier for me as well. Did he give you approx drop? The site doesn't specify much on that.
Cheers for getting the ball rolling though.
