Engine Oil Sensor Question
The "Check oil at next refueling" comes on after driving for about an hour on the highway every so often.
I have checked the oil several times on a level plane and the dipstick always comes out as being at the "full" line.
I took it to Midas (where I got the oil changed originally) and they said that I was not yet due for an oil change, and that the oil level was fine.
Could this be a faulty sensor? Any thoughts?

I know some of us have been having this issue.
when i first bought the car i was having it alot more due to carmax overfilling it.
once i did the oil change and fix the level issue it seemed to have gone away and now it only does it once in a while on the freeway.
i know someone that used to get the message every 20 mins on the freeway and when he brought the car in they changed the oil level sensor. we'are still waiting to see if it'll do it again.

Yup. Just had the sensor replaced about a week ago. So far no more warning messages, but again, it's only been a week...
