Headlights
I got a 2013 C250 about a week ago and only have a couple of things I want to change. First are the headlights. I want the high and low beams to match (as closely as possible) the DRL lights. I think I need LED bulbs, but I'm not sure what to get. Anyone have a preference in bulb type or any advice on how to move forwards?

Seems a bit bright in the picture.
Did 5000k morimoto HID for lows. AZN LED city lights. Philips diamond vision high beams. Everything matches nicely.

Left is the Morimoto HID Kit (required for exact match of what i pictured) I'm sure you can avoid the kit if you're really against the $150 price tag. (Right side pic is just stock halogen MB Setup) The AZN LED city bulbs and Phillips DiamondVision (as mentioned above) I got the Phillips bulbs from Amazon, and everything else from AZN. Use the below link if you'd like. All in, it was $350 with install, looks really good.

The reflectors are designed to work with a small focal point of a halogen bulb. Most HID sources are much longer and therefore have a tendency to throw light around in ways not intended. Because of this, any given headlight may or may not have a "good" light pattern when you replace them with HIDs.
I upgraded our 2009 A4 and don't particularly like the light pattern but it seems to put out more light and looks good....I may got back with Diamond Visions if/when the bulbs/ballasts burn out.

It seems you both can be correct....or incorrect.

To test I put my C300 (HID), my friends C300 (stock) and a Stock 335 with factory Xenon. The beams on my HID was equal to the strength of the 335, with no obnoxious "Too Bright" beam that we have seen in Hondas that mod their lights.
For me, since the Lighting Package was not available, this works very well on my end. Xenons are a better look…but I got what I could

Finally for the HID's installed. They look the way I wanted them to. One has a flicker sometimes during startup. And I got a "check lights" message once. I'm gonna see how they act during the next few days. Thanks for the advice guys.
