Unleash the audio?
Feel free to e-slap me if there is a good thread on this already....
I bought a used '10 with the smaller screen (non-nav) and includes AMFM, WB, Sirius, and what looks to be an AUX in 3.5mm jack in the glovebox.
I am able to connect my Windows Lumia 710 to use the phone function but I can't stream audio using Bluetooth. Is this normal? What have other users done to import personal audio files into the stereo? my last car had an aftermarket deck with a usb plug and I went off of that.
Should be pretty elementary stuff but I'd like to know what everyone has done.

Hey I have an '09 with the navi package. Comes with the Harmon/Kardon surround sound system. I also cannot stream bluetooth audio, however I can plug an ipod into the USB port in my glove compartment and then switch from my radio to AUX via my flip up screen.

I have the 2013 4matic with the premium 1 package and I can stream via bluetooth with mp3 format from my phone and android device fine. I don't recall if I tested with my ipod & ipad via bluetooth , but for sure those mac devices works via 3.5mm stereo jack.

I have a 12 c300 and can stream using my samsung galaxy s iii as my unit has audio streaming capability vis blue tooth. My 09 ml350 has blue tooth for the phone, however I cannot stream audio as the function does not exist in this. Does your model year support Bluetooth audio? I connect my iPad using blue tooth as well as connecting using the iPad connector.

I must not be educated in which package the car came with. I'm thinking I share the tech as mendola's ml350. I also must not have a factory ipod plug as I haven't seen anything like it. I will test my ipad in a second but I doubt it will work. I just stepped back in time 15 years and burned a 700mb mp3 cd. I got 4 albums and maxed it....
Maybe I will search deeper for members' DIY tricks to gain tech from this headunit while retaining an all factory appearance.

You can add a bluetooth receiver in the glovebox and plug the 3.5mm output to the audio input. I can stream bluetooth in my 2013 but couldn't in my 2008.
