2009 C350 rear passenger HK speaker rattle

I have a pretty nasty rattle (best way I can describe it) coming from the rear right speaker under heavier bass. I've 100% narrowed it down to the rear right speaker (the larger one) by taking off the rear deck lid speaker vent. When you press down on the speaker cone slightly, the "rattle" goes away, and you can put your ear up to it from both underneath and above and hear it's coming from that speaker specifically.

The speaker otherwise sounds okay, and looks fine. No signs of it being blown or anything. I know it's just an OEM stereo setup, and it's not designed to win bass competitions and OEM speakers tend to blow easily, but I'm a little disappointed. Yes, I can turn the bass down a little, but I shouldn't have to. I'm not stressing the speakers anymore than they are designed to be stressed. I don't have the volume up insanely high, it shouldn't be vibrating like it is.

Is this just how these speakers sound, or is mine possibly blown? Again, the cone, magnet, and everything else looks and feels fine. The speaker cone will flex up and down maybe 1/4" or less under bass, which is I believe what's physically rattling. A "rattle" is really a bad way to describe it actually. It's more of a distortion/vibration that happens whenever the speaker flexes under heavier bass.

Open the trunk and place a piece of styrofoam or egg carton in the spaces below the rear shelf. This should create enough room for the speaker to work without causing vibrations.

I had the same annoying bass rattle and the above was my solution.
