Hi all! I own a 2008 C350. Just recently, my door on the driver side of the car stopped locking. The door pin doesn't go up or down even if I press the lock or unlock button from my car, though there was still a slight movement. Thus, I removed the door pin because I thought it was just the pin causing it to be stuck, but that was a fail. What should be my next step? Do I have to remove the door coverings from the door to fix a part inside and how? THANK YOU

Sounds like you will need to open up the door panel to see what the issue is. I have tried using the plastic dash trim removal pry bars to pop the door panel open, but the most effective way to pop the panel out is with a long flat head screwdriver. Start at the bottom of the door panel as any marks are not visible to normal line of sight and work your way up to the top.

I read various posts and it seems like it's the door lock actuator that's the problem. I think exactly like the problem found here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...#ixzz2q4UqwK9N. I have removed the panel, drilled out the rivets holding the metal panel. I now have trouble removing the door lock actuator. There is 2 wires wrapped around it and there seems to be a hook attaching the plastic cover to the door. Also, how do I remove the window regulator carrier? Thanks for the help
