2008 C300 driver door lock

I have a 2008 c300. My driver's door wont lock with the remote or manually with the key. All my other doors lock when i use the remote.

I cant push or pull down the door pin either. I've also used the lock button on the drivers door and it still wont move the door pin up or down.

Is this an easy fix? Any had this problem before?

Update. I can push down the door pin with the door closed. So the problem is getting the key and the remote to unlock/lock the door.

Could be door control unit or door lock module

Thank you for the replies guys!

Is this an easy fix or a job for the service department? How much would this cost to fix?

Just went to my car. The lock/unlock buttong on my drivers door works. I can lock and unlock all the doors except the drivers door. It seems like the problem lies with the driver door's lock pin.

+1 on door lock actuator, had it happen on both my bmws. DIY took about 1.5-2 hours. I have never done it on the w204 however

Looks like I'll have to bring it to the dealership. How much do you think they will charge?

If you know your way around a car you can replace it yourself,
if a dealer charges you 4 hours for this job then youre getting ripped off.

all in all youre looking at about 3-4 hours including the diag. time. at least thats probably what the dealer will charge you.
Can you explain more in detail on what to do after the 10 rivets are drilled out? I'm stuck after that. I can't figure out how to remove the door lock actuator. Thank you
