2008 C300 driver door lock
I have a 2008 c300. My driver's door wont lock with the remote or manually with the key. All my other doors lock when i use the remote.
I cant push or pull down the door pin either. I've also used the lock button on the drivers door and it still wont move the door pin up or down.
Is this an easy fix? Any had this problem before?

Just went to my car. The lock/unlock buttong on my drivers door works. I can lock and unlock all the doors except the drivers door. It seems like the problem lies with the driver door's lock pin.

the time consuming part is the drilling out of the rivets.
the exterior door handle and lock cylinder have to come off, the interior door panel comes off. then about 10 rivets drilled out. then the door lock actuator comes out when removing the window regulator carrier. actuator is held on with 3 plastic rivets. replace the actuator. then the other time consuming part comes when you have to rivet the regulator back in place.
all in all youre looking at about 3-4 hours including the diag. time. at least thats probably what the dealer will charge you.
