C250 AMG Style Door Pins
Just got a set of AMG style door pins off e bay for 49.00. The install is super easy 5 minutes and the rear popped right on without any problems. They all sit at the correct level and are all the same unlocked or locked It's a cool fast and inexpensive improvement over the stock plastic pins!

Thanks Tony
I read all the previous threads about the replacement pins and was a little Leary about the fit on the rear pins. But I guess it is the fit of different aftermarket vendors. With mine the rear pins popped right back on with only a little pressure so no need for the crazy glue

For what it's worth , this is the set I got off from fleabay from espeeddyi. The rear pins will need super glue to keep them in. It's not a big deal, but if you can , get the set that xaran bought which fits more snugly without glue.
Here is the picture of the one I got.

Has anyone else installed the aluminum door pins on a C250? I would like to confirm that you can indeed pop the rear ones off and on again. I saw a video on YouTube of a guy with a C63 saying not to pop them off bc "you will break something."

From my understanding the rear door panels needs to come off in order to install the AMG door pin properly.

front and rear pop right off??
I was thinking of purchasing these a while back but I read you need to completely remove all door panels in order to removal stock pins and install aluminum ones....someone correct me if I'm wrong or a DIY with pix would be fantastic!!

No, the front just screw off. Just wrap them in a rag before you unscrew them, and use a set of pliers. The rear ones are my concern. I really don't trust myself to take the door panel off. I don't wanna break anything.

I added these and really like them. I didn't pull the door panels; but a drop or two of super glue is suggested for the back pins, or else they will eventually pop off.

I have a dash dimming dial on my 2013. It looks exactly like the door pins. But it is hard to see as it's usually obstructed by the steering wheel.

Are these chrome on top or brushed all the way around?
