When do interior redesigns make it into other models?
Looking at the new C class interior its a pretty steep new redesign of the interior as well as a completely new command interface. When do these updates usually make it into other models?
For example I'm interested in the new GLA but its debuting with the now outdated old interior design...would the next model year have the new interior design / command interface?

I don't mean the exact design obviously...just mean the redesign. The A class has the exact same design elements as my 100k 2013 SL550 (same command interface, same steering wheel elements, same button designs, HVAC controls etc), as does every other current Mercedes. The new S and C classes have moved to the next generation interior design, so I'm asking how fast this design propagates to the rest of the model lineup.

The design language spreads across the model palette as new models are launched or at facelift time. Not before.

i'm not sure, does the new S and C class still have the NTG4.5 COMAND or is it a new version again?
the airvents in the C are like those in the A/CLA/GLA and come from the SLS.
all cars get a new interior when the facelift is there but i don't think the framework of the A class will keep up with the C,E,CLS,SLK,SL and S

The airvents in the new C Class are influenced by the new S Class & not the SLS. A Class & derivatives airvents are certainly influenced by the SLS
