7G Tronic PLUS AND 4MATIC question
This might be a Glyn question....
As most people know by now, the 7G Tronic when coupled with 4MATIC isn't very robust due to the internal transfer case.
Does anyone know....when redesigning 7G to 7G Plus, did Daimler address the transfer case issues? Or did they put the same transfer case components in the new transmission?

Sorry ~ I don't know the answer to that question directly. However, when issues show up via the warranty claims dept, engineering jumps on them pretty quickly.

Thanks Glyn. I thought they would have addressed the issue in the many years before the transition to Plus, but since that didn't happen, was hoping we'd know for sure about an engineering change for 7G Plus transfer cases.
