AMG Rim - Original or Replica?
Hi Sirs.

I just got my w204 a few months ago and i am planning to upsize my rims from 17s to 18s. I have attached some pics of an ad that i saw online. Based on the pics, the rims have the AMG logo on the front. It seems that the markings are all there at the backside, even down to the part number. Im just not familiar with the "RONRL" marking. I've also seen "MADE IN ITALY" on AMG rims, but never "MADE IN GERMANY". Just would like to make sure that Im buying original rims before I make my decision.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, what tire size would you suggest for these rims? i dont plan on lowering my car.

The stampings on the inside doesnt look quite OEM and the RONRL logo pretty much sums it up, it should say RONAL.


My guess is that it is a pretty well made replica.

Thanks for the reply sir vic viper. I was kind of hoping they were original, though the seller told me that they were.

Hi sirs,
Can somebody advice if this AMG rims and tires from
E Class can fit my C Class W204 2013.
Front-8.5 x 18 ET 48, tire size 245/40.
Rear-9 x 18 ET 54, tire size 265/35.

Yes they will, but if you want to truly match the circumference of the wheels you should run 235/40 up front.


245/40 is 3% larger and 265/35 is 1.3% larger then stock.
