Smile Planning on buying 2013 C300 CPO. Please help!

Hi guys,

Sorry I posted in the Canada section but there hasn't been a reply and I am planning to make a purchase real soon. I am a newb when it comes to Benz but I have been reading on this forum quite a bit recently as I want to purchase a used 2013 CPO C300 with premium package, bi-xenon lights, sports package, parktronic and media interface. From what I know, it was a previous courtesy vehicle from Benz and has only 10K on its milage. It is listed at $39,000 CDN. Is that considered a good deal? If not, what price should I be targetting? And what should I be beware of heading to the dealer for the negotiation as this will be my first car purchase!

I realize the 2015 c300 will be a redesign so the prices on the c300 are lower now. I was originally planning on buying the 328 xdrive but after sitting inside it, I find the C300 to be a lot nicer. Also, I've heard about lots of computer issues with the BMW so C300 became my clear target. Any opinions are welcome. I really appreciate your help! Thanks

I was in the same position a week ago, but ended up going with a new 2014. The prices on the low km 2013 cars seemed just too close to new prices with the current MB incentives. One I looked at was $39,900, not sure of all the options on it, but it's priced in similarly. The 2015 has some improvements, but I don't care for the look of the dash, made my decision to get a 2014 a bit easier to make.

Thanks for the reply. How much is the 2014 with the current incentives?

That's a good price for a CPO. There are non CPO 2013s at smaller dealerships with the standard warranty going for like $34k to $38k and pre-facelift CPO models (2011s) going for $35k. You're getting a facelifted and improved version for a great price. You may be able to negotiate the price a bit but I doubt there's much wiggle room.

Will depend on the options, but with some negotiating and existing incentives, I got just over $4K off.

Thanks. That's good to know. There should be a couple thousand bucks of wiggle room from what I asked the sales consultant. They've actually got quite a few (~ 10 ish) in stock with roughly the same configurations and with the w205 coming out soon , I am hoping I can bargain a little more. Should I get the extended warranty or the prepaid maintenance as well ?? What would be a good price for those? I know prices for those are all over the price depending on the dealership.

I am having my fingers crossed that there is nothing seriously wrong with the CPO being an ex-courtesy car. Can't wait to start modding it once I get it, I am quite excited!!!

Ya I went a month ago and they were giving the first 3 months financing off and another $2000 factory incentive, so roughly $4K off too. But the price tag of the car with similar configuration (include Navigation as well I believe) was still around $50K + tax + freight & PDI which makes the price tag of this 2013 quite attractive. I am going to see it tomorrow. Will let you guys know how it went. Thanks !!!!!!
