I installed the DEPO tail lights yesterday. They look great, I'm very happy with them. Thanks to this forum for letting me know they exist. It rained heavily over night, and I see no condensation in them. Very pleased so far.
It's been over a year for some of you folks with the DEPO lights. How has it been holding up? I got a pair from ebay seller Adanation and already had to exchange them 3 times for LED failure. I was hoping the DEPO lights are better made.

I've had my DEPO headlights and taillights for about a year as well. I think I bought both from fishcakes online on eBay and unique style racing. Customer service from both were very good. My lights have never really given me any problems and I am very satisfied with them.
Does anyone know if I can upgrade my OEM tail lights? I have a Premium 2 W204 with the original LED turn signals. I was told by a DEPO ebay seller that it won't work if I want to upgrade with new style and the LED bars...huh?
I thought I had to cut a wire or add a resistor to make it work on my model. Can anyone clarify what I can do?
Here's my current rear tail light. there's 2 pictures, one is lit and the other is lit + turn signal (led)

Hi, I'm wondering the same thing - I want to buy a set of these LED taillights for my MY2010 (Australian delivered) C63 but Fishcake (Erick). sent me this message:
"Thanks for following up. I am confirming that based on the information, it appears it will be a fit EXCEPT we will need clarification on whether you have LED Tail Lights from stock or not.
The reason this is important is because if your tail lights are LED from stock, this tail light will NOT fit as it is intended for the models that have halogen on all functions from stock.
If you are unsure, please contact your local Mercedes Dealer as they will be able to run your VIN Number and provide you the accurate information.
I would like to ensure we make a smooth transaction for you.
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Erick G."
Does anyone know if the PFL tail lights have ANY LED functions or are all the globles halogen?? Even if the PFL C63 tail lights do have an LED functiion (eg turn signals) is Erick correct - will these DEPO lights not work? I would have thought that someone with a C63 would have discovered that by now. Thanks folks!
Reading your post suggests that you are in OZ. If that's the case I'd suggest source some OEM face lift tails from a wrecker and get the rear SAM as I did. I had them installed by an indy shop. Have had them since about January 16 without any issues, no dreaded error messages., nothing. I sourced the whole lot for $640 plus installation. Have not regretted it one bit. Really happy with the outcome.
It's been a few years. How are these depo lights holding up now?
Pretty good for me, minus one minor issue. Back in 2014, I purchased the DEPO LED C headlights from Uniquestyleracing.com and the DEPO LED tailights from fishcakes on ebay. One of the headlights from the start had a defective C LED module(intermittent C LED light up), I spoke with the shop that installed the headlights and the reps at Uniquestyleracing about it over a year after the issue started. Both said to try a replacement LED module, USR sent a replacement for $30. USR reps were extremely helpful throughout the entire process, highly recommend them. Shop installed it and its been perfect ever since. I get light bulb out errors on the dash from the very beginning in 2014 but that's properly because the headlight shop I went to is incompetent and can't properly install resistors. They say there is nothing they can do since its Mercedes and it's very sensitive to electrical differences in the bulbs, even with resistors installed.
Overall, I really like the DEPO headlights and taillights, especially given the affordable price.

How long overall have you had them without issues?
The C LED was taken care of about a year ago or so, honestly been crazy busy so the last few years have been a big blur.
The tailights will very rarely give an error light on the dash but given than I had the rear taillight wiring changed on Mercedes recall while they were installed, maybe a resistor is now a little looser than its supposed to be.
Besides the error on the dash for the right and left parking lights, the C led has been flawless since I replaced it. I would wager that they would have been perfect since 2014 if I had replaced the module from the very beginning.
I honestly think everything would be just like OEM if resistors are all installed properly.

I'm pretty close to buying these DEPO tails for my 2011. Any horror stories from anyone at this point? Having read most of this thread I'm assuming the experiences have been mostly positive. The only decision on appearance that I'm split on is the amber versus red turn signals. It appears USR is out of stock on the former.
