Cancer removed. Tail light back to normal
Cancer removed. Tail light back to normal
All if the parts came out to $57.00 and labor $45. I know you all are going to say that I could have done it myself but I don't have the tools or the time.
I am happy that it is back to normal.

Do you happen to know what years this is common in?
Can't believe that this is an issue on the w204 as the w203 and maybe even earlier cars used the same system and never had issues that I know of.

I think this is isolated to the pre-FL style tail lights. I've swapped to the FL lights and so far everything seems to be working well, this includes the upgraged ground wiring that I added since my pre-fl lights.
Thanks I am 1/4 way in the market for a new car and don't want to deal with stupid stuff like this that's for sure. New car would be to get away from little things every few months (01 c320 has 212,000 miles so every few months it is a few bucks to replace something or planning ahead for maintenance)
