Unhappy Traction Off

Ok so today While trying to turn left on a 2 way street (one lane going one coming) some jackass decided not to wait and tried to pass me on the left that didn't go well so he hit me anyway my wheels were turned so he hit my left from wheel and minimal damage to the car itself now after the police report I started the car to leave and the car is wobbling from let to right and I can barely control it traction is off and a message is displaying saying "car inoperable" can someone please tell what happened tomorrow is Sunday and no shop is open did my car get messed up for good or can it be fixed what should I expect now please any ideas would be appreciated. It's a c300 4MATIC 2014

Thanks!

I posted on the other forum by mistake I apologize

If they hit your wheel it could have damaged steering or stability parts and causing it to not drive straight. Does your wheel look straight when the steering wheel is straight?

sorry guys I took the wheels off today and this is what i saw that pipe looking thing is the only one thats bend compared to the other side. and the wheel that was hit is not straight when I leave the steering wheel straight it faces inward the other side is fine. How much do you guys think its going to cost me to change just that as the car drives fine if I put the spare skinny tire on but not with the normal one.

Thanks.

Bent inner tie rod end it looks like. Since it is such a new car I would get it towed to dealer and fixed you got other guys insurance I assume and then you can have them look for other damage.

I'm going to do that but if I wait for insurance to come through its gonna be weeks and I just can't afford to wait that long I use the car a lot I'm just wondering if I can have it fixed somewhere for cheap and how much I should be looking for if you would have any idea

Thanks

That definitely is not a cheap fix man. Just take it to your Benz Dealer. Since its 2014, they will give you a car for up to 4 days and then your insurance would give you a car for the rest of the repair period. Well that is what it's like for me.

You don't want to do a "cheap" fix on a thing like that, in the end it will bite you.

You need to contact the other person's insurance immediately. Request a loaner for the entire time it is in the shop. Do not have any work completed on your own until the insurance company OKs the work. Sometimes, your insurance will pay for the work initially, then sues the other insurance for recovery of the money due. Read your insurance policy completely to see what you can do.

It's simple. Call your insurance company and tell them exactly what you told us on here. Tell them what happened, tell them the insurance company details and tell them that you need a car to use ASAP.

Good Luck

hey man thanks I had the car looked at today they quoted me $150-200 no issues came on when they ran it on the computer and the paint I know the guy so he said $200 so the whole job is going to cost me $400 - $450 maximum they advised me to wait and have their insurance fix it so im just going to wait until I get the police report so I can call them.

Thanks for the help
