ESP Malfunction gets corrected
Could somebody please advise if the ESP unit needs to be replaced now that the warning massages no longer light up. The service centre says it should be replaced. They ONLY tried to delete the message, or reprogrammed it, using their diagnostic equipment but message displayed about the power steering and ABS problem did not go away. I reversed the car on a slop, the tyre slipped harshly, and the problem got fixed. Recently, I changed my brakes pads and discs. As soon as I took the car out from the service centre the warning lights came on. But it resolved iteslf immediately. Perhaps it was an oil block? Now it has got auto resolved by itself again. Does the ESP unit need to be changed on my 2009/12 c180?
