Common sense can become rare on some threads. I've read the one on "Stance". Still wondering where Reppin is...near LA?

orange county roads are pretty good. my car can be 1/4th an inch higher than OEM if i wanted it to be...so hardparking and driving low isnt a problem.

^I agree

Do whatever makes you happy OP, you weren't trying to pose as a last generation C class(almost two gen old) anyways, so I think it's ok to keep the C30 without being a "poser".

I have a friend who vinyl'd a red stripe down the middle of his BMW, yeah it looks ridiculous and people laugh at him behind his back, but he is one of the best guys I know, and he LOVES that stripe.

Do what makes you happy OP, I think its a small yet nice customization.

I've debated debadging my C250, as I debadged my previous two DDs, mainly because it makes for easier waxing and detailing. I'm also sympathetic to the German notion of debadging as understatement. However there's also the notion of debadging as an attempt to hide that you're driving the base model - which would be hard to do anyway on the 250 thanks to the single exhaust pipe and diffuser - but that's not something I care about hiding.

Not sure what your nickname means in Belgium or if it's just a name in Flemish. Unfortunately, around here, D.O.A. is a medical term which is usually heard in an emergency room, meaning "dead on arrival".

Not as different as I had thought! You know one of the things police or journalists will note/photograph if your car is ever involved (and I sincerely hope not!) in a crash! I was involved in a club called Friends United for Car Knowledge....don't think I'll be making a badge out of that one!

Whoa! That's a 10 year old thread! I sold the car around 2017 and yes, I'm in Toronto. Funny enough, I saw it only a few months ago parked very close to where I live now in Toronto. I was shocked to see it! It still looks the same, but has a bit of rust now

Yeah, I think I did a pretty good for 10 years ago Yup, did the quad tips and C63 diffuser myself And the spoiler, aftermarket taillight, wheels, tires, side stripe, etc.

Since that car I've had a 2007 BMW 530xi Manual 6-speed then a 2009 BMW 650i Manual 6-Speed (that was AMAZING with the V8), and now a 2022 Tesla Model 3 + 1984 Porsche 944 for fun...lol

Here's a pic when I saw it here a few months ago.
