w204 not starting
hello i have a w204 2009 c320 sport
this car has recently been in an accident and has since been repaired with all the airbags replaced. The accident damaged only the left suspension, the bumper, the head lamp an the fender
Now the key just turns and wont start the car, wont unlock or lock the car. all other electronics work fine except the radio and components that needs the car to be on
the key battery seem to be fine as the red led light comes on when being pressed
the battery has been checked and in good charged state
please help

Your car needs to go to the dealer.. Likely needs SAS replacement or recalibration, and if not done new airbag module & calibration.
And as mentioned might need a EIS or have the immobilizer system reprogrammed to the keys. The crash might have messed with the systems
