Aux imput

Hi i just purchased a 2010 c300 sport and am picking it up tomorrow the problem i see is that i am an android user and the car only has a 30pin iPod connector in the glove box. i have used search to find that there is a hidden aux port in the glove box. when i get the car how do i find out if i have this i don't want to break any panels. I've searched google and the forum and haven't found a straight forward answer or diy for how to use the aux input.

Amazon Amazon
anyone know if this works?

There's a similar cable like the USB but it's 3.5mm female on the other end. There's also one the splits into a 3.5 and apple 40 pin. Just have to keep looking on ebay. Just search for "mercedes interface cable". You'll find a lot.

Just buy it from eBay like I did. I provided you links and what to search for already. It's gonna be expensive at the dealer.

In your glove box look at inside top wall on left half. If there looks like a rectangular looking socket then you can use the cable. It's gonna be flushed so you need to look and not just feel for it. If you don't have it then you can't use those cables. You might have a 3.5mm auxiliary port on the side of the glove instead. I'll try to find a pic if I can. You can also ask the dealer what your car comes with assuming you're buying from mercedes dealer.

You can see the aux plug in on the right of the glovebox... use the search function I found a picture and previous threads in 2 seconds
