I received an email from Mercedes-Benz@mbusainfo.com saying they would give me free shipping, but at $249 the price is still too damn high!
I won't pay $249 for a set of onetime DVD updates. That's crazy.

I have an issue with the import tax charge of over $40 for a DVD disc to Canada. I understand there's a shipping charge. First it's used, second, it's not from a retail company where need to claim tax for government. I don't see how the seller trying to charge import tax.

Unfortunately he is free to charge whatever he wants for his stuff, just like you are free to NOT BUY IT and move on.

I bought a set on Craigslist and it worked perfectly fine. I'm not sure if this is against the rules but I would be happy to re-sell them to anyone for a massive discount; just PM me an offer if interested. I'm located in Canada but can ship anywhere in NA.
New update includes road names at higher zoom levels (finally!), all the alleyways in addition to the roads, and updated Gracenote media database. This seems like the first update that's actually worth it, imo. Was a quick and painless update. Took about 1.5-2 hours and I even performed it while driving.
