Hi all,

I noticed that there is a ticking sound under the hood, it is slightly noticed inside the car when driving.
The car has 15,000km on it. Please, does anyone has any idea?

Just sounds like Direct Injection noise to me. I notice all German cars with DI sound like diesels under the hood. What does dealer say? I know a certain VIN range needs check valves installed for the M276 engine.

No engine light on. But I will take it to the dealer for a quick look.

Yup. After watching the video, the Service Manager said the same thing. Here is his quote:
" I have just read through your email where you mention your concern of the ticking noise from the engine area.
If you would like to bring the vehicle in so that I can hear the noise/concern you are mentioning. I do not believe that the noise you are hearing is anything to be concerned about. Our new vehicles with the new engine design and configuration with have some slight engine noise. The new E Class and C class have the new engine design with direct injection. With this new design slight ticking noise from the top of the motor. This noise is from the injectors that have to overcome combustion pressure as the vehicle injects the fuel into the cylinder on the compression stroke.
This noise is a normal characteristic of the new design.
If you feel more comfortable bringing in the vehicle Saturday I can have someone take a quick listen for you"

I am planning to take the car for them to have a quick check and get an update here.

thats a good idea. a lot, if not all, of the diesel engines in these cars would have the diesel injection noise which is very apparent. but as far as the depth of that ticking noise, i wouldn't say that it is the injectors. there is a cam solenoid campaign out but i do not know if you have gotten that recall done. i doubt that would be the issue though because people commonly find oil leaking from around the camshaft solenoid seal. but taking it to a dealer is the best idea.

correction: the leak comes from the camshaft adjustment solenoid.

Did you happen to take your car to the dealer and what did they say? Im a new 13 c300 owner and was just wondering what they said.

I brought my car to dealer, my car sat there in one week for changing the fuel injector because when comparing side by side of the same model, the ticking sound from mine was louder than other.
If you think that you have the same issue, bring it to the dealer and talk to them.
