I have searched the forums for info on this and could not get any clear answers from past posts.

I don't want to waste my money getting an adapter that is unnecessarily expensive, or getting the wrong one and having to return it.

Additionally, I WOULD like to be able to play as much content (320Kbps MP3's) as possible, so having a larger card is important for me.

Any help in this regard is appreciated!

I don't know the seller right now and can't look, but I picked up mine on Ebay for about $20 shipped IIRC from China. I can probably get that info for you if interested.

It took about 3-4 weeks to get it, but it was worth the wait as it wasn't ridiculously expensive and worked like a charm. It plays my SD card just fine.

EDIT: Thought I should mention, the adapter itself has nothing to do with how many files you can hold. That depends on the SD card you put in the adapter.

Correct, but I do understand that some adapters don't get along with some cards and viceversa. I want an adapter that will read the largest card possible without funky issues like a lot of people seem to encounter...

I believe my SD card is 16GB, but I just moved and it is packed away with my PCMCIA adapter right now so I won't be able to look for a couple weeks when my HHG get here. If you are interested I can get you the seller for the PCMCIA adapter I went with. It seemed to work well for me and I can hold 900+ songs on my card (which I believe is SanDisc)

I was hoping I could do more than 16GB, I'll check those Amazon Links and get back if I can't locate the right stuff.

If you click the last link there's an option for a 32gb card. 5000 songs has to be enough

Definitely. Hehe. Though, as a DJ, I love to have my full collection of tunes available. hehe. Thats a lot of songs!

I just thought of something! I believe there is a WIFI SD card out there!!!
I may be able to send music to it from my home, if the card is withing WIFI reach? Maybe its just BlueTooth.
