W204 Door Sensor Switch

W204 Door Sensor Switch.

Can anyone please help me with the following info, applicable to a MY 2012 W204 (C Class facelift) European model:

When opening any door the overhead control panel will illuminate (front or rear, as appropriate). It would appear that the sensor which controls the illumination is inside the door and I would assume the control wiring to the dome lights must be routed via the footwell up the pillar and over the headlining.
Can anyone with access to the wiring diagram please advise how to identify the aforesaid control wire(s). Probably a ground or 12v switched by the sensor.

Looking at the US W204 diagrams, there is a module in each door that communicates with the domes via CAN.
