13-14 C250 questions
Hey I'm new to the site and greatly considering buying a 13-14 C250 in the near future and was planning on blacking everything out on the car. Just curious on a few things to get a game plan how everything comes apart to black out and pricing!

Window Trim
Will it come off the car so that I can have it painted or can you order it through Mercedes already black? If so how hard is the removal? If MB sells it what's the cost?
Trunk Chrome Piece
How does this come off the car? Was planning on having it painted or wrapped.
Trunk Star Emblem
Is this held on with double sided tape or screwed on? Can you buy them in gloss black that are the exact same size?
Wood grain Interior trim
Not a fan of wood grain but all the cars I'm finding for sale has woodgrain instead of the aluminum trim. Can this be swapped out? How hard are the pieces to remove?
Tail Lights
Are the 13-14 C250 tail lights LED or halogen?
Gloss black vinyl roof
Just curious how much everyone has paid to have their roof wrapped?
Sorry for the long post, if there are DIY threads you could post on any of these I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all the help!

Your window is wrong I assume your looking for facelift C250 witch would be 12-14
1. Window trim you could have someone wrap it or try wraping yourself.
2. Don't know
3. Possibly but same thing could wrap these pieces also.
4. LED when brakes are applied and just normal glow for the running lights.
5. Roof wrap depends on who's doing it the guy I know would take less if I pulled the sat antenna off before he did it.

On the trunk, the model number is double sided tape, the star has a single hole in the middle.

Thanks for the help! The car I'm looking at has chrome on the top part of the outside handle, Is this factory or was it added to the car? Not a fan of a lot of chrome so I was hoping it was a stick on piece. It's a 14 model if that helps.

Keyless go has a little square indent on the aft portion of the door handle. To see if it iIs installed, have the key in your pocket, with the doors locked, put your hand Behring the handle as to open the door. The door should automatically unlock.
You can replace all of the interior trim with about 5 different trims. I installed carbon fiber trim that was on available on the C63 as an option.
Any of the exterior trim pieces can be removed and painted or wrapped

must be true, I have a black 2013 c250 sport sedan and the door handles have chrome on the top (I have keyless go)

Same here, but in white. Also have chrome half of handle and have keyless go. Seemed to match up with what I saw when he was showing me cars around the lot too.
