Key Program
Hi guys I am currently touring in France and have rented a CLA 220 CDI. Didn't notice it at first but the electronic key will not unlock the doors. Need to use the regular key. It will lock them tho. Does that mean the key needs to be reprogrammed or is there a shortcut.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you tried replacing the battery in the key?
Edit: didn't see that you mentioned it will lock them but not unlock them... That's very strange and I personally have no reasonable explanation for that.
