Whenever my heater or ac is on I hear a spring like noise on the front passenger side just above the glove compartment. So I took out the cover above the battery and saw a "flap" that covers the fan. I took some videos to verify if that "flap" is causing the noise and yes it does. So question for you guys is what will be the next thing to happen when you hear that noise? Would that flap just all of a sudden not work? I still have extended warranty on the car and I am not sure if they will cover it if I complain about it. If it is not covered what would that part cost to replace or better yet what is the part number.
