So like so many of you, apparently, I too seem to need to replace my intake manifold. Quoted from Benz of Boston, $1845.40. Hell no. After doing a bit of research on here and other forums, it seems that the usual culprit for "hooked up SDSfound faults in p0856 for thermostat and fault for tumbler flap. Removed air housing hooked up vacuum gauge. inspected found tumbler flap arm broken." is actually the triangular actuator. See picture and diagram.
So my question is does anyone know where to get a good deal on the kit assembly for the actuator? Gaskets and all. How long should it take an Indy shop to remove the manifold replace the actuator and gaskets and replace everything if I supply the parts? And how urgent would the "thermostat" issue be?
