A service question?

I have a 2011 c300 with 32k miles on it, I brought it in for an A service on it and what ever they serviced it cost $200 but they said that I needed my spark plugs changed is this common or not for the year and mileage on the c300?

The Spark plugs are supposed to last ~100K miles, but I don't know if they also get worn over time even with low mileage.

It seems early to me, but I'm not as experienced as most on the forum.

Either way, you can ask the mechanic to see the worn plugs. If they are worn then you'll have to replace them. If you're out of warranty (which a 2011 may be) then you will be out of luck getting MB to cover it.

Excessive idling can also wear them out so that could lead to a low mileage plug replacement.

32k is too low for any plug. More like 60k or 100k miles
