Whats this noise coming from my C300? *Video*
Hey guys, I own a 2012 4matic C300 and last summer I heard this noise, and it keeps coming back.
It comes during all types of seasons (hot and cold).. it happens at LOW speeds, especially when I am in the parking lot. I have low KM's on the vehicle, so its a 2012 and I have 22,000 kms on it.
It happens when my foot is braking and when it is not braking at low speeds... any ideas? I brought it to the dealer but it "magically" didnt make noise when I brought it there.

I have heard the noise on a couple of C-class's. AFAIK, it is coming from the parking brake (which are small drum-type brakes inside the rear brake rotor hats). I don't have the details on the repair needed (there is a technical bulletin from Mercedes), but it has to do with replacing some retaining pins and clips.
