iPhone - Music does not resume after Phone call ends

iPhone - Music does not resume after Phone call ends
I sincerely apologize if this has come up before but my searches aren't yielding anything.
I have a 2015 c300 sport - comand system / embrace..
I use the media interface to connect my iPhone and also have paired it via bluetooth for phone calls.
When i make or receive a phone call and music is playing from the iPhone via media interface, the music stops as it should but when i terminate the call, music does not resume and i have to open the console and hit play on the iPhone. also, once this happens, the computer acts as if the iPhone is a new media source and has to recompile / index the tracks.
it's a tiny annoyance, wondering if anyone else experiences this and/or fixes?
In previous cars with similar functions, music would resume when phone calls terminate.

Does anybody have any advice on this?
Hey guys,
Anyone have any advice on this or is there another post or thread I could read up on? Not super annoying, but I would have expected the computer to index one time per device that is plugged in and be able to tell the difference instead of reindexing every time I connect my iPhone which makes voice searching useless as it takes up half an hour to "initialize" and index.
Also answering phone calls and then resuming music playback once the call is complete is just something that every car with a BT phone connection I've ever owned has done except this beautiful 300.
