i am experiencing same problem on the left front door. I think its the actuator also. How did you come to your conclusion of a faulty actuator?

At the beginning of the actuator sometimes closed and opened door, then completely stopped working. Thus, it seemed to me that the actuator, not control.
Now I know how to replace it

Mine has done the same thing. First it was intermittent, now it does not work at all. Looks like I will have to replace mine also. Looking at your pictures, once I remove the door panel (which I have already done before to check if actuator was binding) I assume you have to drill out the rivets to remove the aluminum plate, then remove the actuator. Is this the procedure you followed. Any help would be appreciated.
