Lane Keeping Assist question

I recently purchased a used 2012 C250. When I bought it, the salesman initially thought it had Lane Keeping Assist since there was a camera in the installed in the center of the housing the holds the rain sensor and the rear-view mirror. He later told me that it did not have that option since it was not listed when he ran the VIN. I didn't think much of it until yesterday when an independent window repairman changed out my windshield and confirmed that there was a camera in place and that he's seen a plug in that spot on cars without LKA. Any idea why my car has the camera but does not show it on the DriveAssist menu. There is no indication that it is working, either, as I receive no visual, audible or haptic warning when I cross over a solid line. Does the fact that I have the camera mean I have the rest of the equipment necessary for the feature? If so, can this feature be easily activated with the equipment I have? My VIN ends with 8CA651469. Thanks.

The camera is also used for the Xenon lights.

I'm presuming your car has the lighting package? Not sure if the other features need a different model camera or if it is just software though.

If you had Lane Keeping Assist, you would also have Blind Spot Assist. It was paired as a Lane Tracking Package ( at least in the USA )

As the above contributor said, if you have the bi-xenon lights, the camera is installed as Adaptive High Beam Assist
