Hi,

My dad has a Mercedes C350 (2011 plate) with the command system.

He has a Samsung Galaxy S5 which has recently upgraded to the new Android Lollipop 5.0

Since the update when he connects his phone via bluetooth it causes the command to freeze.

He rang up Samsung and they said that the command isn't compatible with the new update.

Has anyone else had this issue/ know a way of by passing the problem.

I am having the same problem. I can start a call after connecting my Samsung galaxy s5, but then it freezes, sits for 1-3 mins. and then restarts... this is incredibly upsetting if it just isn't compatible because I just bought this thing and rely on hands free communication so much and I've never owned an apple product and never will! I had a Nissan before this vehicle, fully loaded and had no problems with any connections, etc.

 

I had the same problem. Updated the Command firmware at the dealership and it fixed the issue. My car is still under warranty.

 

I'll also confirm if the firmware update works. I have a 2011 e350
