2011 C300 4matic
70,000 miles
Thermostat went out at 45,000. I replaced that on my own instead of dealer with new coolant.
Just put in new engine air filters.
No transmission services nor do I plan to.
Full synth oil every 10k miles.
No leaks or noises
original battery and brakes
3rd set of tires
2 wheels cracked from potholes

Only because I don't generally keep cars for more than 100k miles. If the trans craps the bed before 100k miles, I'll never buy another one from that manufacturer. Here's to you, Chrysler.
How many cars are running this same trans around the world? A million-ish? I bet 95% won't follow the maintenance schedule for the trans and still be alright. I'm playing the odds.
Edit: and yes I do realize Chrysler uses the same/very similar trans in some of their cars too. The one that failed me was different.

I'd like to hear back from c3nthusiast whether or not he's changed his tranny fluid yet at 200k+ miles.

It was my understanding that Chrysler used the old 722.6 5AT unit, not the 7G-Tronic. I don't know of a Chrysler vehicle to ever have had a 7-speed. Which ones use it?
This is why maintenance records are important when shopping for a used Mercedes. I rarely keep cars to 100k either, but I do maintain them properly.

I do not find your policy logical. You would very likely receive more back in a trade if the service records were up to speed therefore paying for the trans service . It would also negate the risk you are taking in it failing you at the most inappropriate time .

I just couldn't in good conscious neglect a major maintenance item like that to just pass it on to someone else.
But with this car I may give it to one of my children anyway.

One comment, both my rear tyres wear on the inside , settings are correct. It is put down to predominantly freeway driving & sedate cornering. We have moved to 2 1/2 acres in town so it will be interesting to see whether a lot of roundabout use changes the wear pattern.

Yes, it's disappointing mileage. I think it is set up for optimum cornering which is something that say 80% of drivers do not need. You can buy adjustable camber arms but I do not think I will do so at this stage. Luckily I can rotate front to rear which helps.

I am sure MB would not wish to sell you one if you do not service it correctly.

I also don't trade in cars. I sell privately and my cars come with all maintenance records. By trading in, one leaves thousands of dollars on the table. To me, that is illogical. I apologize for the off topic discussion.

I understand most don't find my policy logical. Like I said, it's not for everyone. However, MB will never turn down an opportunity to sell a car. We're talking about a car that is essentially a nice fleet vehicle. I have full confidence in MB engineers and their designs to be fleet capable.

^^ agreed. No offense but if your logic was "I'll trade it in and let the dealer deal with it...auction or wholesale not my problem", then ok. But to then tun around and sell to a local who is unaware and may very well deal with thousands of dollars of issues due to lack of maintenance...

2011 c300 amg sport 123,111 miles on it.
Got the car late october of 2015 with 93,000 miles. I put 30k miles in these past months, been doing a and b service except brakes but plan on doing it next week. Besides that replaced filters with k&n filters car has a deeper sound now, but still feels like new. I usually drive it hard im not gonna lie and still loving the way it drives. Except tires aint cheap and this is my second pair haha.

There won't be maintenance records, as with anyone who DIY services their vehicle. But they will have receipts and "claims", but you know, this day and age, how hard it is to fake a receipt lol
I just feel sorry for the next owner.
