Schlitter's 2014 Polar White C300 4MATIC Build
Hey all.
I purchased my car in September 2014 as a CPO from Mercedes Wilsonville with 9,000 miles on it. Got free oil changes for life too![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I will do each update in new posts, so hold on. Much has happened in the five months I have owned it.
Car info:
2014 C300 4MATIC
Polar White
Black interior, wood paneling
Premium Package 1
Mods:
Clear, amber-LED side markers
Projector HID's with 5,000K lights
CXP45 window tint all around
Ordered:
black, single bar, mesh grill with chrome Mercedes emblem
Plans:
Red-painted calipers (once the weather is nice)
Side chrome trim delete
Blacked out window trim
Flowmaster x-pipe

In late december, my vehicle was backed into.
In short, I was at a friends house downtown, which has a shared driveway. I actually parked there so someone on the street would not hit me.
I parked my car, walked into the house, and heard a truck revving. We look out the window and watched the guy (neighbors ex-husband) back up the hill of the driveway into my car. His trailer hitch punctured my bumper, and it took 2 hours to separate our two vehicles.

Total damage was $6,200 (plus $2,300 diminished value, plus $1,000 for rental car). Rear bumper and trunk lid were replaced and the back of the car repainted.

Couple of updates.
Had my windshield replaced 4/10/15 because of rock damage on the freeway. Whatever it was, it was at least an inch in diameter. Got it pretty good. Turns out the insurance lied about having a separate deductible for glass repair, ended up being $250 for the deductible. I will be looking for different insurance.
Also had an x-pipe installed on 4/11/15. Love the sound of it. It's a deeper tone, louder around 3K RPM's but it's not ridiculous. Can't even notice it at highway speeds.
4/11/15 had one of my ballasts go out, so I had to buy new ones from a shop in the metro area.
It was an expensive weekend lol
