I probably would have got an E had the price been the same. I like the look of the C a little more, but the rear seats on the E are closer to usable. On the C you don't really want to take any long trips with people back there. As for the S, I never really considered it. I guess it depends if I'm paying and money isn't an issue, or if I'm just being given a car. S isn't really my style though. I'd get the AMG versions before spending money on the S. E63 for example.
