Finally, after over six weeks...
Mercedes installed a complete new engine in my 2013 C250! The dealer replaced several components to get rid of a whirring sound (oil pump, balance shaft) in the original engine to no avail.
It takes awhile but MB does back up their warranty. They spent a lot of $$ to get me back on the road.
I'm hoping now they'll refund the lease payments for the 6+ weeks they had the car and I didn't.

Damn that sucks! Was it just a bad luck kinda thing or been happening a lot to that model? And hopefully they do give you some kind of compensation for not having your car. Did they at least give you a free loaner for the 6 weeks?

Must not be happening much or they would've found a fix for it. Yes, I went through two different loan cars...but nothing with AMG on it.

I don't think this is a common issue for the C250. The C300 and C350 that has 4Matic system with troublesome Transfer Case issue. Ask PeterUbers for more information

And today, the A/C failed the first time I turned it on. Weak at first, later the A/C light would flash several times then turn off. Goes back to the dealer tomorrow. Woe is me.

A/C Fail
Fixed it in a few hours. Something was disconnected during the engine install. One good thing...they gave me a 2015 C300 as a loaner. Wow, what a car! When they called to pick mine up, they said to keep the new one over night if I wanted. I wanted.
