Don Nguyen | Norcal / Bay Area Vinyl Wrapping Tour - March, Monday 25th - Sunday 29th

WannabeRacer.com

I am making plans to be back up in San Francisco / Norcal / Bay Area to do vinyl wrap installations and plastic dip jobs between the dates of March, Monday 25th - Sunday 29th.

As a side note, I have had requests to do trips to other locations as well (IE east coast, etc). So if you are not local to me and would like to see if I am able to travel out to your state, PM or e-mail me and I’ll put you on my contact list for if I do make it out there and for me to also be able to gauge interest.

Here are links to some of my vinyl wrapping tours up to norcal:

Just a reminder. E-mail (don@wannaberacer.com) me to schedule/reserve your appointment slots. Everything is a first come first serve basis. People who e-mailed me in the past get priority, so if we can't schedule something for you this time, still e-mail me and I will keep you on my priority contact list for the next time I make a trip up to norcal / Bay Area.

For me to process each inquiry as quickly and smoothly as possible, please use the following format below:

For this brand new white Mercedes Benz CLA 250 sedan, I applied my gloss black vinyl material to the roof to give it a panoramic look, which tied in the already front/rear windshields and also the already gloss black side rails/antenna. In addition to the roof, the owner of this car had me wrap the lower front portion lip of the bumper in my gloss black vinyl material as well. Even with these subtle changes, it changes the look of the car quite dramatically, giving it a more aggressive but still a clean look at the same time. The only other suggestions I could have given would to have been black out the chrome window trims and possibly slightly tint the tails.

The owner of this white Ferrari FF coupe has had several of his previous cars worked on by me in the past for different vinyl wrap projects. For his Ferrari FF, we went with the my gloss black vinyl materials for the roof of his car to give it a panoramic roof look and also give it a more aggressive look. Even though the car already stands out from other cars, the gloss black roof really changed the look of the car even more in a positive way. The owner of this car was local to me in Yorba Linda and came out to my shop in Orange County to have the vinyl work done. Also, the purple hue in the pictures was because this car was finished just as the sun was going down and the lighting of the sky was a bit purpleish that day, which translated over into the pictures.

This is something different than just having the tail lights tinted/smoked. The owner of this car had me vinyl wrap an outline on the tails of his Mercedes Benz C300 sedan. I did it in gloss black. The style is based off of the Brabus style tail lights that they offer, for obviously a fraction of the price of getting the tails directly from Brabus like this. I have also done this for some other cars, but it looks best on the C class with these style tails.

]I really believe that blacking out the chrome/brushed aluminum on bigger bodied cars, such as this black Mercedes Benz S550 makes a huge difference and changes the look of the car completely. For this S550, I blacked out the chrome around the windows, the lower chrome bars on the bottom of the doors and the rear back chrome trunk bar piece with my gloss black vinyl material. I believe the owner of this car was from either Los Angeles or San Diego and drove out to me in Orange county/Anaheim Hills to have the work done. We went with the gloss black finish to match the finish on his already gloss black powder coated wheels.

Hey i have a question, i needed to get my front bumper repainted. I want to gloss black vinyl my lower fascia again. How long should i wait for the paint to cure before then? I was told by shop to wait 30 days. What is your expert opinion?

That's actually a question better suited for the painter, since they will know their mixture and how long their paint is expected to cure based on its mixture and location/weather conditions of your area.

I think typically most people say 1 month as a thumb of rule though.
